T-Mobile LG myTouch phones to cost $80

LG's mid-level myTouch phones will arrive at some T-Mobile stores on November 2, with a nationwide availability starting November 9, the carrier revealed through Facebook. Each of the phones will cost $80 after a $50 mail-in rebate and on a two-year contract. Users will also have to pick a qualifying Classic voice and data plan.

The T-Mobile myTouch and T-Mobile myTouch Q share many of the same specs, with the main difference being the slide-out QWERTY hardware keyboard of the myTouch Q. Its screen is also somewhat smaller, at 3.5 inches rather than 3.8. Otherwise, they have the same 1GHz, single-core Snapdragon processor, five-megapixel camera, and use of Android 2.3. Preloaded software includes Netflix, Qik-based video chat, and T-Mobile TV.

The myTouch will only be available in black or white, while the Q gets gray and violet colors.
