New experience to arrive November 3

Sony is currently preparing to launch a major overhaul to its PlayStation Home 3D social gaming network. The experience will include a list of new free games, including a new first-person shooter, Bootleggers '29, that replicates Prohibition-era shootouts. Users can play as their PlayStation Home avatar and unlock rewards.

Other new additions include a poker room located in the Sportswalk district, where users can play Texas Hold 'Em. The new Pier Park location offers RC Rally, a multiplayer r/c car racing game, while a 3D version of Steampunk puzzle game Cogs is located in the new Hub.

The redesigned PlayStation Home experience is scheduled to launch on Thursday.
