Acer Iconia Tab A200 seen early

Acer is now known to be planning a sequel or complement to the Iconia Tab A100 after a Bluetooth SIG page gave it away. The Iconia Tab A200 appears to be a slight change to the seven-inch design, although it's not clear what's changed other than its appearance. The version on show is Wi-Fi only.

The hardware is likely to use at least Android 3.2, if not 4.0, and is likely to get a processor upgrade beyond the 1GHz Tegra 2 in the exchange. Acer currently keeps the storage low on the A100 and may make that the main sacrifice on the A200.

When it ships, the tablet should get a worldwide release, as it's listed by the SIG as shipping to five continents. Its price is likely to sit close to the $330 for the A100. [via Pocket Droid]
