Trigger headset gets 40mm drivers, adjustments

Video gaming peripherals maker Mad Catz on Thursday began shipping its Trigger Stereo Headset under its Tritton brand for the Xbox 360. Co-branded with Microsoft, the headset sports two 40mm neodymium drivers. The boom for the microphone is flexible and adjustable.

The in-line audio controller lets users adjust volume and in-game chat levels independently of each other. Connection to the Xbox 360 goes through a USB port for power and a separate RCA connection for signal. The headset is now shipping in the US and Canada for $55.
