Verizon LTE coming to at least six cities in 2011

Verizon Wireless will hold the last expansion of its 4G LTE network for the 2011 year on December 15. Thus far, only Findlay, Tiffin, Warren, and Youngstown in Ohio, as well as Duluth and Superior in Minesota, are said to get the faster 4G network on that date. Verizon has yet to issue an official press release on the matter, however.

The 4G network is estimated to be ten times faster than Verizon's current 3G offering. A separate subscription plan is needed, and only about 15 devices support the 4G speeds, including some smartphones, tablets, USB modems and hotspot devices. [via PhoneScoop]
