IOGEAR Wireless 3D kit streams 3D video with low lag

Sends 1080p and 3D video to up to two rooms


IOGEAR is now offering a system for wirelessly sending 1080p video to HDTVs. The GW3DHDKIT is a transmitter, receiver, and remote controller package that allows a user to stream standard, HD or 3D resolution content from up to two HDMI enabled devices to a TV screen. The imagery can be sent to up to two rooms and has under 1ms of lag.

The Wireless 3D Digital Kit uses 5GHz wireless to deliver uncompressed full 1080p, 3D content and 5.1 digital surround sound audio up to 100 feet away. The system has a built-in IR passthough that allows a user to control source devices that are hidden away or in a different location. The transmitter provides dual HDMI video inputs and an HDMI output port in both the transmitter and the receiver.

The Wireless 3D Digital Kit initially will be available online at http://www.costco.com">Costco. It will be available at other retailers and online stores before the end of the year. IOGEAR has priced the GW3DHDKIT at $380.
