HTC to bring Tegra 3 phone, tablet to MWC

At the Mobile World Congress show in February, HTC should show off a tablet that uses NVIDIA's quad-core Tegra 3 processor, Digitimes reported. At the same time, two new Android-powered smartphones would also make their debut alongside this tablet. One of these phones will get the same Tegra 3 chip, they said, hinting that the Edge will be unveiled at that event.

The tablet could reach the market in the spring or summer and ahead of Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system, which is due for a late summer launch, the source claimed.

ASUS will release its own Tegra 3-powered tablet, the Transformer Prime, relatively soon, and an early report of Acer doing the same with an Iconia Tab A510 surfaced earlier today as well.
