Acer Iconia Tab A510 leaks with Tegra 3

Iconia Tab A510 to get Tegra 3 CPU, Android 4?


An upcoming tablet from Acer, the Iconia Tab A510/A511, has been leaked thanks to its User Agent Profile being shared by Japan's Ameblo. It will be a successor to the Iconia Tab A500 and, like that tablet, will use Android as its OS. By the time it ships, however, it should arrive with Android 4.0. Processing power will come from a quad-core Tegra 3.

Also revealed by the User Agent Profile is a ULP GeForce GPU core, again attached to the Tegra 3. The 10-inch touchscreen and its 1280x800 resolution should be identical to the original tablet. It's believed the tablet will have 3G or even 4G radios and should sometimes be sold through subsidies at wireless providers.

The only other tablet to use the Tegra 3 chip so far is ASUS' Transformer Prime, and early tests show impressive performance numbers.
