BMW, MINI and MOG team on iPhone app integration

BMW and MINI have announced that both brands will get MOG streaming from iPhones. MOG offers users over 13 million songs on demand and includes unique features such artist-only stations. The service is now integrated into all 2011 BMWs with the BMW Apps option as well as MINI Connected infotainment systems via the MOG app (free, iTunes) for iPhone.

The MOG app for iPhone offers users unlimited, ad-free music through a MOG user interface that is viewed on the infotainment system. While MOG users have the option of streaming audio for free (not including data costs), users can also subscribe for $10 a month, which offers the ability to download music to iPhones for use when off-line.

In addition to streaming music at 320kbps, users will have access to New Releases, Editor’s Picks, Top Songs, Featured Playlists and Featured Radio in addition to their own tagged songs from within the MOG music service. MOG also offers ‘MOG Mobius’ that enables users to switch between artist-only radio or a mix of similar artists.
