Kingston outs its fastest USB drive using HyperX

Kingston HyperX thumb drive is up to 256GB


Kingston has just unveiled the DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 USB flash drive. The fastest product of its kind from the company, it attains speeds of up to 225MBps when reading and 135MBps when writing thanks to its USB 3.0 technology and HyperX SSD. The drive is available in 64-, 128- and 256GB capacities.

The thumb drive has a metal and rubberized casing with a cover and loophole for attaching to key rings or lanyards. It is backed by a long five-year warranty.

The 64GB version is priced at $193, the 128GB at $377 and the 256GB model hasn't yet been priced.
