Verizon outlines Thanksgiving device deals
Verizon Wireless has just brought out holiday pricing and a number of new devices in time for Thanksgiving and the Black Friday holiday rish. It will get a new, red HTC Droid Incredible 2 and offer Motorola's 4G LTE-equipped Motorola Xoom tablet for $200 on contract. Both will be available online on November 24, 25, and 28, and in-store on November 25 only. The phone will be free with a new two-year contract, but only after a $50 mail-in rebate. The Xoom LTE will require a two-year contract with at least a $30 monthly plan for 2GB of data.
The LG Revolution will be offered for $50 on a two-year contract. Also part of the deals will be the Motorola Droid 3, which will cost $150 after a $50 mail-in rebate and on a two-year contract. It will be offered only between November 24 and 28. The same timeline will follow for the Pantech Breakout, priced at $50 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year contract.
Another tablet on offer is the seven-inch, original Samsung Galaxy Tab, at $150 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year contract between November 24 and 28.
Free devices after a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract between the 24th and 28th include the LG Enlighten, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Samsung Intensity II, LG Cosmos 2, and the 4G LTE-powered Verizon USB551L modem.
The smartphone deals require combined voice and data plans that add up to a minimum of $70 per month. A dedicated website will go live on November 24 highlighting the deals.
