QPAD shows off gaming keyboards with NKRO, more

Sweden-based gaming peripherals maker QPAD has just introduced its MK-85 and MK-50 mechanical gaming keyboards. The former is the flagship offering, getting an N-key rollover (NKRO) function and doubling as a USB and audio hub. It sports silent Cherry MX Red switches and a slew of programmable keys.

The MK-85 also connects using a single USB cable as computer makers are slowly phasing out the PS/2 connector. Every key has an LED light and the keyboard comes with software for setting up custom gamer profiles.

The MK-50 lacks the backlights, programmable keys and extra audio and USB connectors of the MK-85. It retains the N-key rollover feature, gold-plated connectors, and media keys, however.

The MK-85 ships in December for €149 ($200), while the MK-50 will be €80 ($106).
