SteelSeries puts out limited-run Fnatic headset, mouse

Cobrands peripherals with professional gamer team


Gaming peripherals maker SteelSeries has partnered with Team Fnatic, a professional e-sports team, to offer a co-branded headset and mouse. The SteelSeries 7H Fnatic Limited Edition headset features paired 50mm dynamic drivers and noise isolating ear cushions. The SteelSeries Sensei Fnatic Limited Edition mouse carries its own embedded 32-bit ARM processor to double the mouse's sensitivity from between one to 5,700CPI to between 5701 and 11,400CPI.

The headset carries a frequency response of 18Hz to 28KHz. The ear cushions of are fabricated from a combination of leather and fabric. This provides noise isolation while adding a layer for comfort. The unidirectional microphone is retractable. The headset can be dismantled into four separate components for compact travel.

On the Fnatic mouse, a small LCD display is incorporated into the underside. The display can show either a pre-designed logo or a personalized image. The scroll-wheel, CPI indicator, and backlight can also be personalized with one of 16.8 million colors.

Fnatic MSI is a professional gaming team, consisting of players from across the globe, who make a living through competing in video game tournaments.

The 7H Fnatic headset sells for $140, while the Sensei Fnatic mouse sells for $100.
