A pro-level calibrator for photographers

One of the biggest headaches for photographers who need to make their own prints is getting a truly matching calibration between what they seen on the screen and what comes out of their printer. Aimed primarily at working professional photographers, the pro-grade $500 X-Rite ColorMunki Photo promises to deliver accurate color across devices where it counts. Is it really that much better than consumer-grade calibrators? Read our exclusive review to find out.

Exclusive review of device released last decade?

I have been using the X-Rite ColorMunki Photo for several years now. I bough it after reading several excellent review of the device published on several pro photo blogs LAST DECADE. Since then there has not been a significant update either to the device itself or the software, just some bug fixes.
Any reason why you are publishing this review now? And how is it exclusive? The device has been on the market for half a decade.

expecially since The author doesn't even understand why older devices dont' work with lcd's. Older calibrators usually can't handle the brightness levels of modern lcd's so they fail because they can't deal with the data over a certain value. The spyder studio is much more accurate then the monk if you are really wanting accurate color and they actually update there software. unlike x-rite that abondoned working meters for whatever reason.
