Aimed at iPads, iPhones

Verbatim says it is launching a new peripheral, the Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard. Like many such keyboards the device is intended mostly for tablets, including iPads, Galaxy Tabs, Xooms, and anything else with HID keyboard compatibility. Also supported is the iPhone.

Special keys control iTunes music playback, or cut, copy, paste, and undo functions. Power stems from a rechargeable battery, which can be topped up using a USB cable or a wall charger. The keyboard should go on sale later today through NewEgg, with a $50 pricetag; black and white options will be available, and each unit comes bundled with a case.
