LG Nitro confirmed early for ATT

Not willing to wait until LG's special event, AT&T on Monday confirmed the existence of the LG Nitro HD. Its adaptation of the Optimus LTE carries the same 4G and dual-core 1.5GHz chip, but is AT&T's first phone to pack a 720p screen. The 4.5-inch AH-IPS LCD should give it a slightly sharper look than the Galaxy Nexus as well as better color accuracy and a 500-nit brightness that's more usable outdoors.

In AT&T trim, the Android 2.3 phone still has its eight-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, but it gets extra storage and apps. A total of 20GB of space comes through the inclusion of a 16GB microSDHC card on top of the built-in 4GB of space, and it comes presupplied with Gameloft's HD store as well as a copy of Zynga Poker HD.

The Nitro HD will carry the same price premium as other LTE phones, costing $250 on a contract. It should ship on December 4 and, unusually, will only be available within official AT&T stores.

How to compare between Android phone?

According to the review, this phone screen is slightly better than the Galaxy Nexus. With so many Android phone with the same hardware and software, no Android phone has a better value than another.
