Samsung Galaxy Note may have US-based version
Samsung may have a US adaptation of the Galaxy Note in store if a spotting proves true. The device seen by PocketNow in what's clearly a Samsung office has what's clearly the 5.3-inch phone and tablet crossover, but with a different control scheme. Similar to what Samsung has done in the past for US Galaxy phones, it has a standard four-button Android scheme instead of the iPhone-like center button of the international Galaxy Note.
The hardware is clearly neither the Galaxy Nexus nor the Galaxy S II HD LTE. A regular Galaxy S II nearby in the shot provides a sense of scale.
No carriers have been attached to the Galaxy Note so far. With the design complete on the outside and likely needing only a small amount of change on the inside, the Galaxy Note could be shown for the US at an event like CES in January.
