Tablets at reduced prices
This year a wide range of great tablet deals are available for Cyber Monday. Amazon.com slashed the price on the Blackberry Playbook 7-inch tablet with 32GB of storage by 50% from $599 down to only $299 with FREE super saver shipping. A modest 16% price break can be found on the Toshiba Thrive 10.1-inch tablet with 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, it was $429.99, but is now $359.99.
It would be hard to mention tablets without the iPad 2 which is available at Buy.com for the reduced price of $574.99 with FREE shipping. TigerDirect.com has the Archos 10.1-inch internet tablet with 8GB of storage and Android operating system for $229.99 after a $70 price break. Lastly back at Amazon.com save $108 on the Sony 16GB tablet with Wi-Fi, it was $499.99, but is now $391.08 with FREE shipping.

Collectors' items
We'll see if the PlayBook, Thrive, Archos, and Sony tablets are even around for next year's Cyber Monday. My guess is that they're headed for the great iPad clone pile in the sky.
Only 51 Tucker Sedans were made in 1948. Asking price was $2,450. An extremely good example was recently appraised at $1.2 million. So maybe your PlayBooks will be worth something in, oh, 2070. (Hint: keep them in their original packaging. Unopened. Higher collector value that way.)
