Best Buy leak shows Galaxy Nexus in on Dec 11

The Galaxy Nexus could hit Best Buy shelves on December 11, according to a leaked inventory screen image sent in to Engadget. The handset has been pegged for a December 8 release elsewhere, including Verizon itself. While the Best Buy screen says the handsets will be in stock on the 11th, that doesn't necessarily mean that's when it will go on sale at the retailers.

The specs on the leaked screen also don't totally line up with the official numbers for the phone, which include a 9.43mm thickness and a 140g mass while Google gives slightly higher 9.47mm and 150g numbers for the device.

The handset's release was delayed partly due to a volume bug, an over-the-air fix for which was released on Wednesday. CDMA models like Verizon's aren't directly affected, but Google is known to be aiming for a synchronized North American release.
