Entry level phones receive Virgin Mobile rendering
Two new entry level phones may soon be joining Virgin Mobile's smartphone ranks. Pocketnow has posted renderings of the Chaser and Venture, two ZTE phones bearing the prepaid carrier's brand. Both are likely to run Android 2.3.
The Venture could be the QWERTY Style Q, but equipped with the four physical buttons rather than three capacitive buttons. The phone is believed to feature a 600MHz processor, a 2.8-inch QVGA (320x240) display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and 512MB of RAM.
The Chaser bears a similarity to the ZTE X500, introduced in the US by Cricket as the ZTE Score. If so, the phone will come with a 3.5-inch, 320x480 capacitive touchscreen, a 600MHz processor, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
