Art Lebedev readies for Mini Six and Optimus Pop

Art Lebedev Studio closed on shipping its next wave of technology Tuesday. It has started taking pre-orders for the Mini Six, its six-key programmable LCD keyboard. Coming from Russia, it should cost $376 and serves as a companion tool for Macs or PCs to handle common tasks or show live status updates.

Its long-delayed Optimus Popularis is also up. The complete keyboard replacement costs a steeper $1,086. In return for the much higher price, users get both a notebook-sized keyboard, each key of which has an LCD, as well as a dedicated status display above the number row. A function key lets keys perform a second task.

Either device comes with an app for both Macs and PCs to let users program the keyboard to change its role in-app or to change it for specific languages. On the Popularis, users can tune the status display.

    LCD?

You keep writing "LCD." Unless they've changed the design, doesn't the products use OLED?
