Cases and more for the iPhone 4 and 4S

As shopping season gets into full swing, a number of accessory makers are still turning out new cases and accessories for the iPhone 4 and 4S. Krona Cases offers a combination of a small wallet with an iPhone case, while SwitchEasy has announced two new iPhone cases, including one that is available in holiday colors for a limited time. Meanwhile, Killspencer has launched what they call iPhone "veils," adhesive wooden veneers.

Los Angeles-based Killspencer offer three types of real-wood veneers, all made in the US from local sources and handcrafted in LA. Currently three designs are available, including a West African Zebrawood, a Macassar Ebony and a Black Birdseye Maple.

The industrial adhesive on the back of the thin wood veneers leaves no residue, allowing users to easy remove the veneer if desired. Users simply peel off the backing and then carefully position the veneer over the iPhone lens and flash, being sure its straight, and press firmly to attach. They cost $30 and ship about two weeks after ordering (pictures of all the products are below).

SwitchEasy has two new designs on offer, including a special Snow Melt limited edition ($35) for the holidays. The case features a UV resistant gloss coating, and the case is made of polycarbonate on the outside with a felt lining on the inside. The two-piece case uses a detachable slider design, and includes screen guards, dock adapters in either white or black, and covers for the power jack and headphone jack.

The design uses a layered effect to give the impression of melting on both sides of the case, and comes in a variety of color options, with only the red-and-white Snow Melt version being limited. The company is also offering a hybrid case for the iPhone called the Eclipse ($20) that combines a hard polycarbonate case with a soft rubberized side for better grip. The hard polycarbonate portion has a sandblasted finish for scratch resistance. It also includes the accessories mentioned for the Snow Melt (minus the dock adapters) and is available in five color combinations.
