Hulu brings new Face Match feature to five shows

Hulu has just introduced a new feature for its streaming video service called Face Match. As the name suggests, it will have the ability to identify actors just by their face from clips and return more information about them. The feature requires users to just hover the mouse cursor over a character's face once the Hulu Face Match Engine is turned on.

The video will then pause and return biographical and other information, such as Facebook and Twitter accounts. A radio button in the Labs section of a supported video will allow actor tagging as well.

The feature is still young, and Hulu promises to expand its database of actors as time goes on. It is thus far compatible with five full episodes of Glee, The Office, Wilfred, Modern Family, and Lost.
