Galaxy Tab 7.7 may come to Verizon in 2012

Samsung's elusive Galaxy Tab 7.7 has resurfaced in a sighting in Verizon's internal system. The mini tablet was caught in the system with numerous references to "4G," making it likely that LTE is inside. Not much else is visible for the tablet, which just entered Verizon's system on December 7.

Its late entry makes it doubtful the tablet will arrive before 2012, possibly at CES.

The Tab 7.7 is a close cousin of the already launched Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus but has a more advanced 1280x800 Super AMOLED Plus screen, making it the first AMOLED tablet. Its screen along with a dual-core 1.4GHz Exynos chip help give it a long 10-hour battery life while running faster and slimming down to just 0.31 inches.
