LG Prada phone 3.0 officially outed, prices TBA

As expected, LG and Prada's upcoming handset has been shown off on Wednesday. The details confirm many of those leaked earlier. Along with its 4.3-inch Nova Plus screen, it gets a Prada-based texture on the back, its own docking station, and a matching Prada bag.

Processing power will come from a 1GHz TI OMAP dual-core processor, and the 8GB of onboard memory can be expanded with microSD cards. The dual-band phone will support HSPA+ for 3G and come with Android 2.3.7 preloaded, though an update to Android 4.0 is planned. It will be heavily customized, mirroring LG's Optimus user interface, though the icons are black and white in sync with the Prada

The eight-megapixel camera can record 1080p video at 30FPS. In an unusual touch, the camera shortcut button is located on the top of the phone rather than the side. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and an NFC radio are built-in, while the battery is a moderately-sized 1,540mAh unit.

The phone ships in January, with pricing not yet revealed. [via BestBoyz]
