Verizon launches online Galaxy Nexus simulator

Verizon has launched a use simulator for the Galaxy Nexus on its support website. The idea is to let customers virtually play with their upcoming handset and learn how to use Android 4.0. Verizon still hasn't released a shipping date for the device.

The virtual demonstrator will let users perform a plethora of functions, including taking photos and activating Android Beam as well as activating the phone's mobile hotspot feature.

The handset is expected to launch at the provider this week, though this hasn't been officially confirmed. When it does arrive, it should be priced at $300 on contract.
