Galaxy Note coming to AT&T with LTE, more changes

The Samsung Galaxy Note handset is coming to AT&T early in 2012, PocketNow learned, cementing earlier rumors. It will carry the SGH-I717 model number, and differ from the international GT-N7000 model by getting a 4G LTE radio and a dual-core, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip like the T-Mobile Galaxy S II. The same large, 5.3-inch, 1280x800 touchscreen will still be the device's headline feature, however.

The official debut of the device for North America is expected to come in about a month at CES. It should get a different interface scheme, with four buttons instead of one large home button in order to avoid possible legal challenges from Apple.
