Roku iOS app provides visual channel browsing
Roku has quickly followed up on its recent set-top box update with the promised matching iPhone app (App Store). Going beyond what Apple's equivalent Remote app does for the Apple TV, it supports both a one-for-one remote control as well as a truly visual browser. Viewers can flip through the individual channels on the iPhone and get to their ratings without having to look up to the TV.
The app can handle multiple Roku boxes and supports every model from the original through to the 2011 redesign variants, such as the Roku LT. Every existing service, such as Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, and Netflix, carries over.
Use demands iOS 4.2 on any device. Roku hasn't posted its Android version yet, but it has asked owners to 'stay tuned" for a release soon.

Roku is a step ahead of the game
I've got the Apple TV unit and an original Roku device, and the Roku gets more mileage. I think they did a better job with the interface and overall performance.
