LG DM92 boasts enhanced IPS and 1mm bezel
LG gave a peek as to its CES plans on Wednedsay with previews of its desktop LCDs. The headlining unit will be the DM92, a 27-inch, 3D-capable display with an enhanced IPS (e-IPS) display that should maintain both high color accuracy and 178-degree viewing angles. Design will be its focus, as it will have a 1mm-thick bezel that theoretically immerses viewers more than traditional displays.
Most of its concrete details won't be revealed until the Las Vegas show, but LG is promising improved power consumption that drops the power use 25 percent versus LG's earlier IPS panels.
Extra displays coming include the TV-capable DM52 and DM82 as well as the less costly, 3D-aware D43. LG anticipates shipping at least the DM92 in the first half of 2012.

I need to know, 'cause I just ordered one for doing Photoshop work and for using FaceTime with friends overseas.
