PS Vita games, accessories, cards for US detailed

Sony picked Thursday to outline the launch details for the PlayStation Vita. The handheld gaming system will ship with 25 launch titles, most of which will be third-party games. Another ten games will show in the "launch window" on or near the February 22 launch day.

Every system will get a coupon to download an augmented reality card game collection, AR Play, and six cards to trigger virtual objects. The first-party games should be available a week early, on February 15. Most titles will cost anything from $10 for a download-only title to $50 for top-tier games.

All of the initial accessories have been priced out and won't necessarily cost as much as first thought. Memory cards will start off at $20 for 4GB and peak at $100 for 32GB. A Starter Kit will cost $40 and bundle in a 4GB card along with a pocket pouch for carrying, a screen protector, a card case for games, headphones, and a cleaning cloth to wipe the five-inch OLED screen.

Most of the accessories will be available on the same February 15 date as early games, just in time for the First Edition bundle.
