Dropbox 2.0 for Android now live

Following the preview of the updated version of Dropbox with Android 4.0 optimizations, Dropbox 2.0 (Free, Android Market) for Android is now live on the Android Market. The popular cloud-based file storage and sharing service has been given a UI overhaul along with is Ice Cream Sandwich compatibility. Early user reviews, particularly those running ICE have been positive, although some users are complaining about changes to the way the delete function now works.

Among the new interface tweaks are enhancements to the gallery view, while users now also have single-tap access to file access and folder actions. Users are now shown separate tabs for ‘Dropbox,’ ‘Uploads’ and ‘Favorites’. Users can now also access offline files, upload photos and videos as bulk actions saving considerable time.
