Galaxy Note successor spotted at Wi-Fi Alliance?

Japanese site Blog of Mobile has just dug up a Wi-Fi Alliance listing for a portable gadget from Samsung called the GT-N8010. It passed the certification process on December 21 and is suspected of being a successor to the Galaxy Note. It will handle 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands.

The only indication that the GT-N8010 is the Note's sequel is its model name, as the Note carriers the GT-N7000 model label. Others specs of the GT-N8010 are unknown.

The original Note still hasn't been confirmed for North America, though it has been rumored as coming to AT&T with LTE-based 4G. It blurs the line between a smartphone and a tablet, as it carries all the functions of a smartphone but sports a large 5.3-inch, 1280x800 touchscreen.
