LG Fantasy seen live for first time

The LG Fantasy has been seen live for the first time in a leak from an XDA forum member who bought a prototype in Romania. The Windows Phone 7.5 device is now known to have a four-inch, IPS-based display and what looks to be an eight-megapixel camera. The design is a significant break from the Optimus 7 and looks more like the G-Slate.

With a single-core Snapdragon chip known to be inside because of the OS choice, the only remaining mysteries are the amount of internal storage and any custom apps. The Fantasy obtained here has non-removable developer apps.

Earlier rumors had the Fantasy arriving in the fall. With that now no longer going to happen, the best chances at a formal introduction are at CES in Las Vegas in mid-January or Mobile World Congress in late February. Whether or not it arrives in North America at all isn't apparent, but the Optimus 7 at least shipped to Canada. [via WMPowerUser]
