Verizon 3G/4G network goes down in major cities

Verizon's 3G and 4G data network has gone down yet again this month. This time, however, it's rather random and irregular. Some users in New York City were reporting connection problems as of Wednesday afternoon, while others haven't. Verizon subscribers in Phoenix, Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco and Portland are among those reporting problems.

Users are also marking outages as the day goes on other parts of the country, including cities in Florida, South Carolina, Washington, New Jersey and more.

Verizon hasn't yet officially responded regarding this latest outage. The outages will cost Verizon in the long-term, as users are questioning the network's reliability, and in the near-term, as some of the same users will demand partial refunds for a service they are paying for but not getting.
