ZVOX adds three new entry-level ZBase soundbars
ZVOX has just announced three new entry-level soundbars that are designed to sit under HDTVs. All are at the entry-level of the company's range, and include the ZBase 220, the ZBase 320 and the ZBase 420. The three share the company's PhaseCure II virtual surround sound system programming and are housed in MDF cabinets.
The ZBase 220 has three full-range speakers, a subwoofer and a 35W amplifier. It sits under TVs sized at between 22 and 32 inches in size and sells for $200.
Next up is the 24-inch ZBase 320, which fits under 27- to 46-inch HDTVs. It contains three full-range speakers, a 5.25-inch subwoofer, and a 40W amplifier. It comes priced at $250.
The 28-inch ZBase 420 gets five speakers, a 5.25-inch subwoofer and a 45W amplifier. It aims at HDTVs up to 55 inches in size and is priced at $300.
All three have output leveling that makes commercials play at the same volume as the content users are watching while also boosting quiet conversations. A front auxiliary input allows adding audio sources, as do rear analog, optical, and coaxial inputs.
