CyanogenMod gets LG Optimus 3D, Samsung Epic 4G support

Support extended to LG Optimus Hub, Optimus Pro


Developers have continued to expand the list of devices supported by CyanogenMod, adding several LG devices and Samsung's Epic 4G. The unofficial custom firmware can now be installed on LG's Optimus 3D, Optimus Hub and Optimus Pro, while the Optimus Black has been added back onto the list of supported devices for the CM7 build.

The aftermarket firmware offers a number of features that are not found on the stock OS, including an incognito browsing mode, lock-screen gestures, outgoing communications filters, OpenVPN support, system themes, and a DSP equalizer, among others.

CynanogenMod files can be downloaded directly from the collective's official website.
