Galaxy Note for ATT spied in render
The US edition of the Galaxy Note has been spotted in a leaked, if rendered, press shot passed on to SAmMobile. As expected, the device would go to AT&T and has conspicuous badging up top as well as a map of UCLA on the screen. The bottom navigation buttons back up the US launch as they've been changed to Android's standard four rather than Samsung's deliberately iPhone-like layout on the original.
A look at the actual device on the back shows a reference to the NFC module that's expected to come along as it did in the AT&T Galaxy S II. No giveaways exist for LTE-based 4G, although that's expected to come along as well. Android 2.3 will likely sit on the Galaxy Note for at least several weeks before Samsung rolls 4.0 out to all models.
AT&T is poised to unveil its version of the 5.3-inch phone and tablet hybrid early this year. Most expect it to show at the carrier's Developer Summit keynote on January 9 and to ship within several weeks.
