Packages to launch in March

LG is currently teasing new 3D home theater systems that the company plans to show off next week at CES in Las Vegas. The products include three separate packages, each pairing the one of the company's Cinema 3D televisions with different bookshelf speakers, towers, subwoofers and center channels.

The speakers are claimed to enhance the 3D experience through "3D Sound Zooming" processing and "360-degree reflector" technology, however the company has yet to provide further details surrounding any tangible differences between the 3D configurations and standard surround-sound equipment.

The new packages are expected to ship in March, though pricing information remains unclear.
