XCom Global now offers data in 195 countries

XCom Global, which provides Internet access rental services to international travelers, has now revealed it has expanded its reach to 195 countries in total. The company will offer one 3G hotspot for accessing data in most of these countries. This expansion was made possible thanks to a newly-inked partnership with iPhone Trip.

Called the Global Travel Plan, users will pay a minimum of $13 per day plus insurance for unlimited data access for members in any of the countries. Those interested need to select the countries they will travel to and get a hotspot or USB modem shipped to them. The Mi-Fi hotspot ($15 per day) will support up to five Wi-Fi devices. Upon their return, they can send it back using a pre-paid envelope.
