Faster uploading, browsing also added

SugarSync has updated its apps for both iOS and Android devices. The new releases provide enhanced backup, synchronization and access of photos, videos and files across multiple platforms (free, Android Market, App Store). SugarSync offers the apps in conjunction with its cloud storage service.

For iOS devices, the latest update enables uploading multiple photos and videos simultaneously. Photo browsing performance has been improved. Background file uploading and downloading has been added. Also for uploading, photo and video compression can be tweaked, allowing the uploader to trade quality for speed.

For Android device owners, the AutoSync Photos and Autosync Folders functions have been augmented with video auto-syncing. Videos are automatically backed up to the Cloud a user's computers automatically when connected to Wi-Fi.

Pricing for SugarSync cloud storage starts at $5 monthly or $50 per year for 30GB, ranging up to $25 per month or $250 per year for 250GB of storage.

Great feature- beats iCloud in many ways

This is an AWESOME new feature. Even if you use iCloud, you should use this too. It backs up your photos & videos not ONLY to the cloud, but also to your PC! And, unlike iCloud you can get 5.5GB free when you sign up through this link. http://bit.ly/SugarSync500MBBonus You also get another 500MBs as a double bonus when you complete a tutorial (which shows you how to use Sugarsync). I've been using it for a while and this is just a great addition. Never have to worry about my photos or videos again. Thanks sugarsync!!
