Iconia Tab A200 coming on January 15 for $330
Acer's upcoming budget-priced Iconia Tab A200 tablet is due to arrive on January 15 in the US, priced at $330. Its specs will include a dual-core, 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 10.1-inch, 1280x800 touchscreen display. While Android 3.2 will initially be onboard, it will be updated to Android 4 sometime in mid-February.
There won't be a rear camera onboard, but a front-facing, two-megapixel shooter will accommodate video chats. The $330 price will be for an 8GB tablet, but a 16GB version will also be available for $350. Either model includes a microSD memory card slot for expansion. The battery life of the tablet is rated at eight hours.
