HTC testing HD8 Windows Phone handset?

Mystery device appears in test results
HTC may be preparing a successor to the HD7 Windows Phone handset. Device statistics that appeared on the Windows Phone app "...I'm a WP7" are rumored to represent an upcoming HTC device labeled the HD8 and connected to Vodafone's network in Romania, according to a WPCentral report.
The data logs suggest the mystery device is running Windows Phone 7, though the HD8 name suggests it may be upgraded with a Windows Phone 8 build by the time it actually arrives on the market.
HTC has yet to officially disclose any information surrounding upcoming devices that fit into the HD7's lineage.
