New tech to be displayed at CES

Toshiba has announced that it will show off several upcoming products next week at CES, including a waterproof tablet and a large glasses-free 3D TV. Aside from the waterproof tablet, which also offers wireless charging, the company will show off a different model that integrates an OLED display.

A refreshed TV lineup for 2012 will also be on hand, alongside a 55-inch glasses-free panel with Quad Full HD (3840x2160) resolution. Other devices will include a home energy management system similar to the technology LG will be showcasing at the electronics expo.

Corroborating recent leaks, the company claims it will be unveiling a new 10.1-inch tablet. Benchmark tests suggest the unnamed tablet may represent a successor to the Excite, potentially outfitted with NVIDIA's quad-core Tegra 3 chipset.
