Budget 7-inch Toshiba tablet images show up

Toshiba may bring a seven-inch budget tablet to CES, if a leak from Notebook Italia proves right. The device doesn't yet have a name, and specs are thin. It will reportedly get a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a touchscreen resolution of 1024x600.

The black tablet in the photos is for comparison purposes and is Toshiba's own Thrive 7. The new tablet will otherwise get Wi-Fi, micro USB, microSD and Bluetooth. The rear has a camera, though its megapixel count is unknown. Android is more than likely to be onboard.

Toshiba has typically had long lead times for any tablet it ships, and might take some months after CES to ship the tablet to stores.
