Mystery tablet powered by Qualcomm hardware

AT&T appears to be preparing to introduce new Windows 8 tablet next week at CES in Las Vegas. The carrier is holding a special event ahead of CES for developers, with a session to be focused on "Windows 8 tablets super charged with LTE."

The session description does not include full details regarding the hardware on hand, however it does reference Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips and the Snapdragon developer program.

"See how the intuitive elegance of Windows 8′s Metro-style application design has been layered over this horsepower," the description reads.

Additional details surrounding the mystery tablet remain unclear. [via Mobiletechworld]
