Acer shows A700 tablet with Tegra 3

At the end of Acer's live event, Acer teased the Iconia Tab A700. While not mentioning it by name, the company confirmed that the Android tablet was quad-core -- already known to be using the Tegra 3 -- and played HD video as proof. It gave no details or a release date.

The tablet may ship with Android 4.0 given the timing, but this isn't confirmed.

A possible delay could be a major setback to Acer, which may not ship until after the iPad 3's rumored March date and after Samsung unveils a next-generation Galaxy Tab.
