ATT details PlayStation Vita plans

AT&T during its Developer Summit detailed its 3G data plans for the PlayStation Vita. The device will have plans similar to those for the iPad, starting at $15 for 250MB of data and $25 for 2GB. The plans are prepaid and let users add service without having to talk to AT&T.

The 3G edition of the Vita is identical to the Wi-Fi version with the exception of HSPA+ access. This lets it get online anywhere in the US, and possibly abroad. Social services like Near and multiplayer play get most of the initial benefit.
