Mouse targets pro and serious MOBA/RPG gamers

Gaming hardware maker Razer has launched a new mouse targeting professional gamers and serious role-playing game (RPG) and multi-player online battle arena (MOBA) players. The Razer Naga Hex features six mechanical thumb buttons and can support up to 250 clicks a minute. The embedded laser responds at a sensitivity of 5,600dpi.

The wired Naga Hex takes many of its design features from the 12 thumb button Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse. Polling is 1,000Hz with a response time of 1ms. In addition to the thumb buttons, the mouse provides five additional programmable buttons. The mouse comes with three interchangeable thumb rests of different heights for improved comfort and grip.

The Naga Hex supports Razer's Synapse 2.0 app. This cloud-based storage software automatically saves the user's custom mouse settings and profiles to a cloud server. These settings can then be accessed from any computer, with any Razer Naga Hex.

Priced at $80, the Naga Hex is now available for pre-order from the company's online store. It will begin shipping later this month, with general availability worldwide in March.
