SteelSeries Introduces Ion Wireless Gaming Controller

SteelSeries has introduced a new Bluetooth game controller. The Ion Wireless Controller can be used by both desktop and mobile gamers. SteelSeries has licensed technology from Zeemote to provide support for gaming on smartphones and tablets.
The Ion incorporates a traditional controller design that includes two mini-joysticks, a directional pad, two trigger buttons, and four programmable buttons. The controller uses a rechargeable, lithium battery that provides up to 20 hours of gameplay. The Ion can also be plugged into a computer or mobile device to charge while playing.
The SteelSeries Ion Wireless Controller will be available in the summer. SteelSeries will lock pricing closer to its availability.
