LG Spectrum $200 at Verizon on $70 minimum plan

As expected the LG Spectrum we had a chance to check out at CES has launched at Verizon on Thursday. It sports a 4.5-inch, 720p display and connects to the carrier's 4G LTE network in areas that support it. The handset launches with Android 2.3.5 but will be upgraded to Android 4.0 in the future.

Inside, it carries a dual-core, 1.5GHz processor and an eight-megapixel rear camera along with a front camera. The preloaded ScoreCenter app provides HD video that is exclusive to the device. A SmartMovie HD app allows users to edit the HD videos they capture, and the hotspot feature can share the Spectrum's 4G or 3G connection with up to ten Wi-Fi devices.

The phone costs $200 on a new two-year contract with both a voice and minimum $30 data plan.
